About Us
Timothy Houser Jr. owns an HVAC and electrical company called TCH, LLC and graduated from Penn Tech in 1998 with a degree in HVAC and Electrical. Tim started riding on his family farm at the age of 5. He has shown in many disciplines, specifically in western and shown at Quarter Horse Congress and many national horse shows. He currently shows in reiner horse shows and is currently showing his new horse in the amateur divisions.
Shira Horowitz-Houser owns Encore Farms, LLC. At a very young age Shira took riding lessons as a hobby and shortly became her passion. She was always the student that rode misbehaved or younger horses to correct them for other students. A major animal lover, Shira's big heart and strong-willed nature has made her very successful. She has successfully shown in hunter, jumper, and equitation horse shows. As a college student Shira decided that she was going to make training horses and riders her livelihood. She graduated from Wilson College with a Bachelor's degree in equine science in 2006. At Wilson, she was on the drill team and intercollegiate team.
Shira and Tim live on their farm in Centre Hall, PA with their daughter Marissa, three dogs, and lots of horses. Shira is teaching lessons at their farm, as well as teaching part-time lessons in Carlisle, PA. For many years Shira has built her show team around the Harrisburg area where she will remain committed while building her business in Centre Hall. She is excited to expand her horse riding and show families.

The bond that is developed results in a solid foundation in horsemanship and in the show ring.
